Synchronous step-down DC/DC

Once the mains power supply has been efficiently converted from AC to DC, industrial systems often require further DC/DC conversion to procedure the right sub-system supply voltage. This can be as low as 1.2 V for the logic supply voltage for ICs on a motherboard.
